There's something call the "Capital Punishment" in the United States, otherwise known as the "Death Penalty". It's where the people who has done wrong are put to death for a nasty or unspeakable acts they have committed. 15 states do not support this act while 35 others do. I on the other hand would not. Me on the other hand do not support this act, the family are reminded more, its murder, what about innocent.
People who love ones are murder and they have to deal with a killer on death roll have to be involve with the case since its a long process. Don't you think the family would like to forget about the case of there murder child or love one as soon as possible and remember the good times they had, also trying to piece back they family again, trying to get it somewhat back to the way it was. Instead of how their loved one was taking away to soon or in a eye scratching way.
These people are being put down like an animal for the act that they did. They have killed someone or a group of people. So they are killed, isn't that murder also? Isn't that state taking a life also? whats the differences? That person did it out the sickness of their mind but the state can do it because they have the government behind them...well but person and state(government too) has committed a act of killing.
Innocents? There are people who are getting off of death road or even out of prison for that matter bases on new DNA. Back then people wasn't using DNA it wasn't something to go on, but since we are coming up on new times, there is new evinces to be added. There some older people who cases who had a chance to be looked at over again and was seen to had been actually innocent, it wouldn't be right for them to be put to death and a day or two later DNA comes to the lab showing this person has no commented this crime, so this person served half they life in prison and their family was talked about all for nothing
Death road shouldn't be an option in our government, it's a crime of murder as well. Its seeing the glass half full either you support murder or you do...the government seems to kill but not its people.
